Ok, so I downloaded TiVo’s Desktop application (2.6.1, for those counting). Paid my money. Wanted to transfer video from my PC to my two TiVo boxes.
It never worked. Not once. I mean, I once got eight minutes of a nine-minute video. But that was it.
So I poked around on the web and came across PyTiVo. Sure, you need to be running python. And yeah, it ain’t exactly elegant and friendly-looking. But, you know what? It works, and is therefore awesome!
